"Drawing the Line" National Juried Drawing Exhibition


Dallas Metro Arts Contemporary

“Drawing the Line”, National Juried Drawing Exhibition.  ***$1000 First Prize***.  Dallas Metro Arts Contemporary studio/gallery, Plano TX.  

What is drawing?  Is it traditional media and subject in pencil, chalk or charcoal?  Is an image of line made with a stylus on a tablet also line, or a  thin pinstripe in paint?  Can a drawing be sewn, or shaped in 3D wire etc? This exhibition is open to all artists aged 18 & up, submitting 1-5 original artworks created in the last three years, exploring, or expanding what constitutes a “drawing”.   

DEADLINE Aug. 9, 2020.  Exhibition dates: Sept. 1-26, 2020.  Entry Fee:  $30 for minimum 2 entries, and $5 for each additional entry up to a total of five.  Size limit:  48" wide and 72 " tall.
