Description:
Get into the meditative vibe of weaving! Use your two hands plus fluffy, colorful yarns and a simple lap loom to create a lovely wall hanging or functional mini-rug. All ages will connect with this technique, which is a great at home hobby or off-screen pastime.
Your Camp Kit include:Cardboard lap loom
Warping string
Colorful yarns
Things you will need to provide from home:pencil
extra scratch paper
color pencils, crayons, pencils, or pens for added study sketching (optional)

1-1:10 Warm Up + Welcome
1:10-1:20 Demo + Learn
1:20-2 Making Time
2-2:15 Break
2:15-2:50 Making Time
2:50-3 Show and Tell (parents invited)
*Local kit pickup is available Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4pm, at Oil and Cotton. If you’d like to call ahead, we can leave your kit on our back deck with your name clearly written. Otherwise, feel free to come in the shop with a mask. If you need additional supplies and prefer curbside pickup, please email requests to [email protected]. Or give us a call at 214-942-0474. *Distance learners can have their kits shipped only if you place your order a week in advance of your scheduled camp or you can use materials from home.
