Five-Day Art Technique Camp for ages 4-12

Price: $200 for one child or $300 for two together
Description: Learn the different sculpture mediums, techniques and tools as you create your own 3D artworks. Experimenting with chance and surprise, students will make tools, make clay, and work in molding, casting, wire, wood, cardboard and clay. We will learn how to translate our drawings and ideas into 3D form and back again into 2D renderings. Students will finish a large sculpture, several small sculptures, and a series of drawings.
Camp Kit Contents (included):
Toolbox grab bag: polymer clay, popsicle stick, toothpick, cord, straw, wood, trophy roller
Drawing supplies: 9x12 charcoal paper, compressed charcoal, scratch paper/free draw, flour, salt, free draw/scratch paper, drawing paper, assorted yarn, polymer clay, watercolor palette, cardboard, grab bag building supplies, 11x14 drawing paper, free draw paper, yarn, cardboard, wire, tempera paint
What you’ll need from home: (not included): Pencil, space to work, computer/ipad, snack, water, mixing bowl, mess-safe work surface, colorful drawing media, essential oil (optional), paintbrush, glue, scissors, paper towel, water basin
Camp Kit pickup is available curbside Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm. Instructions for virtual camp, including zoom details, the schedule, and how to set up your home studio, are emailed 24 hours prior to camp. Be advised that Oil and Cotton will be closed July 3-5.
