Description: This summer camp is full of fibers, fun, and creativity! Students will learn how to weave on a loom, as well as how to create their own cardboard loom for the future. This summer camp is perfect for beginners and students new to fibers. Students will learn basic stitches and how to set up a loom, as well as gain knowledge about different types of yarn!
Students will walk away from this summer camp with original woven creations perfect for hanging on a wall, using as a bookmark, or even an ornament!
Weaving 101 includes a downloadable PDF with five art projects and a custom-made supply kit with special materials for the summer camp!
Art Room Virtual Summer Camps will meet using the Google Meet application. Once registered, students will receive a link to join the summer camp.
