Description:Art with Text & Image explores language as a powerful tool in art to express emotions and ideas. This summer camp utilizes a variety of media to experiment with words and visuals in one-of-a-kind works of art.
While learning about the elements of art and principles of design, students will create art that communicates their artistic voice through the use of letters, numbers, words, and symbols. Art with Text & Image will introduce students to literature and artists as inspiration for their summer camp projects.
Art with Text & Image includes a downloadable PDF with five art projects and a custom-made supply kit with special materials for the summer camp!
Art Room Virtual Summer Camps will meet using the Google Meet application. Once registered, students will receive a link to join the summer camp.
