The Keller Public Library presents the 2020 Keller Reads: One Book One City on Wednesday, April 22 with a free event featuring author Paulette Jiles. There will be a 3:00 p.m. free event at the Keller Public Library. You are invited to the Bowden Center for an Evening with the Author at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available for the evening event at www.kellerfriends.org and at the Friends of the Keller Library Bookstore.
Paulette Jiles's novel, News of the World, tells the tale of 72-year-old Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd and 10-year-old Johanna Leonberger's journey from Wichita Falls, Texas to Castroville, Texas in 1870, and how that journey would forever and drastically change the course of each of their lives. It is a National Book Award Finalist.
