Powerhouse new-music ensemble Sō Percussion makes their Dallas debut performing the Texas premiere of Julia Wolfe’s Forbidden Love, which brings the string quartet into the percussion realm, and their signature piece Amid the Noise by the ensemble’s own Jason Treuting – a communal music-making project, featuring musicians of the DSO’s Young Strings Program.
*The DSO Composer-in-Residence program is a recipient of a grant from the TACA Artist Residency Fund.
