CANCELLED: Bad Art Night

Nicholson Memorial Library System - Central Library

All Garland Libraries are closed through May 9.

Adults ages 18 and older can participate in the Garland Library’s Bad Art Night event, where attendees can create art without the pressure of trying to make something perfect. Bad Art Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 at the Central Library.

Artists will be encouraged to create any art or craft they like and will be provided with materials like paint, markers, cardboard, recycled magazines, and various types of paper. At the end of the event, participants can view each other’s art and vote for “the good, the bad, and the ugly.” Winners in each category will receive a small prize. No registration is required to attend.

The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland. Due to ongoing construction, event locations are subject to change. Please visit our website, www.Library.GarlandTX.gov, or call the library for the latest information. Please be aware that photographs and video may be taken at Library programs for use in print and/or electronic media at the Library’s discretion. For more information, please call 972-205-2501.
