The Fort Worth Youth Orchestra returns to Bass Performance Hall in a celebratory concert of its 55th season. The audience will delight in experiencing all four ensembles of the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra perform: Junior String Orchestra, String Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra, and the premier ensemble of the FWYO, the Youth Orchestra. Enjoy honoring the 20th Anniversary of FWYO Music Director and conductor of the Youth Orchestra, Dr. Germán Gutiérrez, in a performance of a new work dedicated to Dr. Gutiérrez by his son, Nicolás Gutiérrez. La Catedral de Sal (The Salt Cathedral) was commissioned by the FWYO Board of Directors.
