"Brighton Beach Memoirs" is a semi-autobiographical play by Neil Simon. Set in Brooklyn, New York during The Great Depression, this coming-of-age comedy focuses on Eugene Morris Jerome, a teenager in search of identity as he tries to deal with his family and chase his dreams of becoming a successful comedy writer.
