Tommy Terrific Celebrates Black History


Fort Worth Public Library - Wedgwood Branch

Tommy Terrific's Wacky Magic Show celebrates Black History Month with an educational magic show on famous "Black Cowboys of the Old West".
Kids will learn about Bill Pickett who invented bulldogging, as Tommy does a magic trick with steer's skull. They will learn about Nat Love, an expert roper, as Tommy does a rope magic trick. The kids will also learn about Mary Fields, who delivered mail out West, as Tommy does a magic trick from a mail package. These are just a few of the many magic tricks and Black Americans of the Old West contained in this fun, educational magic show. This show is very interactive, and it is designed for kids age 3-12.
