North Texas Teen Book Festival 2020

Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas

Plan ahead for bookish fun with a youthful twist at the 2020 North Texas Teen Book Festival (NTTBF) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 7 at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. This year’s line-up is jam-packed with A-list authors and exciting newcomers to the writing world. Middle-Grade Keynotes include Soman Chainani (School of Good and Evil series) in conversation with Dork Diaries duo Nikki and Renée Russell. Nicola Yoon (The Sun is Also a Star) and Sarah Dessen (The Rest of the Story) return to take part in the Young Adult Keynote conversation.

A veritable whos-who of over 80 authors, graphic novelists, and Youtube celebs are slated to appear, including John Green (Let It Snow, Fault in Our Stars), graphic novelist Raina Telgemeier (Guts), Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrine series), Marie Lu (The Kingdom of Back) and Ruta Sepetys (Fountains of Silence). Marissa Meyer (Renegades, Lunar Chronicles) also makes the fest a stop on her Lunar Ever After tour.
NTTBF began in 2015 as a literary outreach from Irving Library and educational partners to North Texas teens, but authors appeal to grades 5 and up. Adults are also welcome. Thousands from across the state are expected.
Pick up wristbands for select signing lines at 8 a.m. at the convention center box office. Book sales will be available all day. Parking is at an additional cost per vehicle. Wristbands may be required for select publisher events. Due to high demand, some publisher events may be restricted to teens only. For more information, visit NTTBF.com.

North Texas Teen Book Festival is where a reader’s endless story can begin. NTTBF is supported by the Irving Public Library and the Friends of the Irving Public Library, Epic Reads, Sam Houston State University and a host of educational and municipal partners.
