Texas Women’s Foundation presents the 2020 Maura Women Helping Women and Young Leader Awards, which recognize leaders who have positively impacted the lives of women and girls. Award recipients will be honored at the Leadership Forum & Awards Dinner, presented by AT&T, on April 30, 2020, at the Omni Dallas Hotel. There will be dinner and the presentation of the Maura Award to five outstanding women leaders (Dana Blankenship, Tracey Doi, Beverly Hill, Kathleen LaValle, Jennifer Stimpson) and one Young Leader Award to an exceptional woman under the age of 40 (Karla Garcia). Co-chairs are Laura Maxwell of Frito-Lay and Nina Vaca of Pinnacle Group, a previous Maura Award recipient. The event’s keynote speaker is Adriana Gascoigne, author of Tech Boss Lady and founder and CEO of Girls in Tech, a San Francisco-based nonprofit devoted to empowering, educating and engaging women in the tech industry.
Sponsorships and tables start at $5,000, and if tickets are available, they will be released before the event.
