Sherlocked: Adult Winter Reading Challenge

Irving Public Library: West Irving Library

Whodunit? Celebrate Sherlock Holmes, the most famed detective of all, by joining the Irving Public Library for the "Sherlocked" Adult Winter Reading Challenge 2020.

Read five books of your choice from Jan. 1 to Feb. 29 and log your titles to win a prize: a limited-edition puzzle book, a Sherlock Holmes keychain, and a free book. Sign up online at irvinglibrary.readsquared.com and begin logging your books on Jan. 1. One prize package per person, while supplies last.

Delve into timeless and modern mysteries with these events at various library locations: a visit by a bestselling author, presentations by a cyber forensics authority featuring the dark web and computer crime, a mystery theatre performance, a trivia night, and a book discussion.

Want more opportunities for sleuthing? On Mondays from Jan. 6 to Feb. 24, be on the alert for clues in the library or on the library's social media to discover Sherlock's whereabouts.

Presented as part of Irving's Community Read program.
