The Dramatists Guild of America will be featuring "Enferma" by Straton Rushing as a part of the Monday Night Footlights new play reading series. The reading will take place at the Bishop Arts Theatre Center (215 S. Tyler St. Dallas, TX ) at 7pm.
The show follows a young woman named Violet O'Neill. When she is handed a cancer diagnosis at 23, she feels she has nothing left to lose. In the coming months, she starts a new relationship, devises a plan to get back at her boss and tangles herself in a web of lies so thick she has to learn a new language to get out of it.
