Advent of Jazz—BbQ

At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, BbQ opens Advent of Jazz 2019, a festival of three consecutive Tuesday night concerts at JazzStand on Abrams. The Ben Bohorquez Quartet includes Ben Bohorquez on saxophone, Peter Rioux on piano, Young Heo on bass and Brian Harmon on drums.

Advent of Jazz 2019 continues at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, when Dave Zoller and Evidence present Music of Thelonious Monk. The quartet is Dave Zoller on piano, Aaron Irwinsky on saxophone, Jeffry Eckels on bass and Woody Berner on drums.

Advent of Jazz 2019 concludes at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, with The Jonathan Mones Swingdom Quartet featuring Sput Searight on drums.
JazzStand concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Wilshire Baptist Church, 4316 Abrams Road, and are open to all, free of charge.
