India Pinkney, General Counsel for the National Endowment of the Arts Moderated by Karen Wiley, President/CEO of the Arts Council of Fort Worth Join us for a lecture examining the expanding contribution and reach of women in the arts and in culture overall. How does the continued inclusion of women—and diversity of women—in this field increase the ability to make a living in the arts, foster leadership, deepen cultural dialogue, build access and community around the arts, and contribute to the conversation in museums and other centers of engagement? Her talk will look at the power of varying experiences within the context of women artists. These topics and others focused on the progress of women as creators and catalysts will be explored through a creative and also pragmatic lens.

This special presentation is presented in partnership with the Kimbell Art Museum, Arts Council of Fort Worth and Art Tooth. Fee and open to the public. Seating is limited. Pavilion Auditorium
