NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)

Irving Public Library: West Irving Library

Come Write In!
Each Irving Public Library location offers Wi-Fi, power outlets, and comfortable chairs for you to write every day.
During National Novel Writing Month in November, you write a number of words each day, and by the end of the month, you've got your 50,000-word book draft. In addition, programs throughout November at West Irving Library provide writing space and camaraderie, as well as sustenance through snacking.

NaNoWriMo launched in 1999, and has resulted in authors crafting future bestsellers such as Water for Elephants, Fangirl, and WOOL. There are no entry fees or judges. For more information about NaNoWriMo and its year-round activities, please visit https://www.nanowrimo.org/.

Please note that Irving Public Library locations will be closed on Nov. 7, Nov. 28, and Nov. 29.
