Artes de la Rosa is proud to announce and showcase the first annual recipient of the $1000 artist stipend for " La Ofrenda de Fort Worth." (Fort Worth's Altar) Jessika Guillen Artes, a local ftw Latinx artist, will be creating a beautiful community Ofrenda based on her artistic vision. This stipend will be awarded yearly to a Latinx artist who is actively working with the community and who show strong artistic professional standards. The stipend is and will be funded by local community businesses. This year's donors are Insight realty and Emerald Construction and Remodeling.
In addition, works by Arcilia Gonzales of Angeles Art and graduate of our "Arts Academy" will be exhibited in the same time frame.
A VIP artist's reception will be held on Nov 15.
