A salon, as defined by Webster’s, is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation. This aptly describes the Orchestra of New Spain’s (ONS) Salon concert that will take place on November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Preston Hollow private residence
The Julius Quartet is an award-winning New England chamber music ensemble and was named the winner of the 2017 Peak Fellowship Ensemble-in-Residence at SMU Meadows School of the Arts. The group will end its SMU residency this December. It is comprised of violinists Hyun Jeong Helen Lee and David Do, violist John Batchelder and cellist Brooke Scholl.
