The Ikebana International North and Central American Regional Conference will be held October 27 through 31, 2019 at The Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Registered participants are from all over North and Central America, as well as Asia and Europe. Registered participants can select from over 15 Workshops being offered.
The conference will feature an Exhibition of more than 100 unique arrangements, from many different schools of ikebana. On Wednesday, October 30, ikebana demonstrations will be held in four of the major schools of ikebana: Sogetsu, Ichiyo, Ohara and Ikenobo.
This conference is featuring the Ikenobo School, with the Designated Headmaster of the School, Senko Ikenobo, coming from Kyoto Japan to present a demonstration. She will also create a large exhibit for the Conference.
The Exhibition and Demonstration are open to the public. The four Demonstrations on Wednesday, October 28 are $125, which includes entrance to the Exhibition and a box lunch. The Exhibition alone is $15.
