Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Truett Auditorium

The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Kurt Sprenger, will present its Fall Concert featuring Michael Shih, violin, performing the Violin Concerto in D by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). Shih, concertmaster of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra since 2001, has performed throughout North America, his native Taiwan, Europe, Asia, and South America.  He has appeared as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl and at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Also included on the program are "Towards a New Life" by Josef Suk (1874-1935) and "Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" by Richard Wagner (1813-1883).
Plan to attend this concert to hear the exquisite artistry of Michael Shih and the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Truett Auditorium at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Admission is free.
This concert is sponsored, in part, by the Arts Council of Fort Worth.
