On Thursday night, the Dallas Center for Architecture will hold its annual Rockitecture fundraiser. The event happens at the recently restored Filter Building at White Rock Lake and offers a great chance to hobnob with other local architecture buffs. On top of that, there will be a silent auction of items that will make any design fan’s heart race.
Tickets are $75-$125, but the DCA folks have generously handed over a pair to us to give away. If you’d like to go, be the first to send me ([email protected]) the answer to this easy trivia question: Which Pritzker Prize-winning architect is designing the new Perot Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas?
UPDATE – Thanks to all who entered. We have our winner. And, of course, the answer is: Thom Mayne.
