The New York dance company Ballet Hispánico’s mission is to explore the diversity of Latino culture through dance. The troupe of 15 dancers performs works by choreographers from Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Trinidad and Venezuela. By fusing classical and contemporary dance with lots of Latin-ness, a new style of concert dance emerges where theatricality and passion propel every move.
