The Big Deal – The Gospel According to Charles Dickens, Thomas Jefferson and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord At WaterTower Theatre

by Ariana Vera 29 Mar 2017 8:31 AM

This is the Big Deal you’ve been praying for. Join WaterTower Theatre for their production of “The Gospel According to Charles Dickens, Thomas Jefferson, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord.”  Scott Carter, executive producer of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” wrote this 2014 smart comedy. Imagine what would happen if you closed and locked the door on the third U.S. president, the author of “A Christmas Carrol,” and a Russian revolutionary. Forced to be together in the afterlife they debate scripture and the meaning of life for all eternity.  Why this group of notable historical figures? Why not? After all, each of them wrote his own version of the bible. Now, don’t ponder and argue with yourself whether to sign up or not – just enter this Big Deal for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the April 21 performance at the Addison Theatre Centre.
