The story of Clara and her handsome Nutcracker Prince make up this Big Deal. The Nutcracker with its dreamy music and dances sequences have captivated both children and adults alike for decades. And why not, with its land of sweets, dancing snowflakes and dueling Nutcracker and Rat King who wouldn’t be mesmerized.   It is no wonder that it is one of the, if not the, most performed ballets in the world.  For this Big Deal one lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets to Texas Ballet Theater’ production of Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker when it takes its turn in Fort Worth on Dec. 15, the 6 p.m. performance at Bass Performance Hall.

And while you have your metaphorical pen in hand, you might want to sign up for our two other Big Deals this week – tickets to Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas Celebration or the Hotel Texas: An Art Exhibition for the President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy exhibition book from the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.

PLEASE NOTE: Only Art&Seek e-newsletter subscribers can win the Big Deal.  If you are not a subscriber then you can take subscribe here, then sign up below for a chance to see The Nutcracker do battle against the evil Rat King a
t Bass Performance Hall.

UPDATE:  We have our winners. Come back next week for more Big Deals.
