Provocative comic Sandra Bernhard started out at the Comedy Store in L.A. in the 1970s. She was recognized for her work in Martin Scorsese’s 1983 film, The King of Comedy. Since then she has gone on to create other memorable characters on the big screen and on television shows like The Larry Sanders Show, Rosanne, The L Word, and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
