This ancient Hanukkah story is sure to get you in a festive mood. In a small Russian village the presence of wicked goblins keeps the town from celebrating Hanukkah, until one man, Hershel of Ostropol, takes it upon himself to evict the mischievous residents from the haunted synagogue at the top of the hill. Enter for your chance to win a family pack of four tickets to see this original adaptation of the Caldecott honored book by Eric Kimmel. Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins is Amphibian Stage Production‘s inaugural holiday production with an original klezmer score, feats of puppetry and stunning visual effects. Winners’ tickets will be good for the Dec. 12, 7 p.m. performance.

Don’t forget to take the time now to sign up for this week’s other Big Deals: enter to win a pair of tickets to enjoy Riverdance: The 20th Anniversary World Tour concert at the Allen Event Center, or to the DSO’s Christmas Spirituals concert featuring Jubilant Sykes at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
