“The Simpsons” creator and executive, Matt Groening, met author and artist Lynda Barry at Evergreen State College in the 70s, and they’ve mutually inspired each other over four decades. Groening is a cartoonist, writer and producer responsible for “The Simpsons,” the longest running U.S. primetime television series in history. Barry is best known for “Ernie Pook’s Commek,” her weekly comic strip.

For this Big Deal, win two tickets to hear the entertaining duo talk “love, hate, comics and the perpetual joy of driving each other crazy.” The fun takes place at the Winspear Opera House on June 29.
