The Big Deal: Fuzjko Hemming at Eisemann Center

by Anne Bothwell 11 Jul 2012 7:47 AM

Overcoming severe hearing difficulties, and turbulent life, including a time spent under refugee status, Swedish-Japanese Fuzjko Hemming beat the odds to become a highly acclaimed concert pianist and sold over 2 million copies of her debut CD.

Here is your chance to hear her at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts.   Two Big Deal winners will each receive a pair of tickets to her concert on July 21.

The concert will feature works by Chopin, Debussy, Liszt and Mussorgsky. This is Fuzjko’s first appearance in Dallas, and it is part of her U.S. tour.

A portion of the proceeds from the “Arigato Charity Concert” will go to the 2011 Japan Relief Fund for victims of the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011.

You must be an Art&Seek e-newsletter subscriber to win. And you may want to enter this week’s other Big Deal, tickets to see Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis at the Kessler Theater.

UPDATE: Thanks to all who entered, we have our winners.
