The Big Deal: Fort Worth Chorale Of Schola Cantorum Of Texas

by Gila Espinoza 21 Mar 2018 8:30 AM

The Fort Worth Chorale is Texas’ oldest auditioned, volunteer, adult community choir, independent of a symphony, church or educational institution. The chorale, formerly Schola Cantorum of Texas, is comprised mostly of professional or amateur choral directors and music teachers.

Two concert performances, one in Southlake and one in Fort Worth, marks the end of the ensemble’s 55th season. Punctuating the season closer will be Craig Hella Johnson’s All of Us, an inspiring piece about how we strive to be the people of the American dream, “E Pluribus Unum – Out of Many, One.” Enter for a chance to take your family of four to see this inspirational concert either on April 13, 7:30 p.m. at White’s Chapel Church in Southlake or on April 15, 3:30 p.m. at University Christian Church in Fort Worth.

Now is usually the time we invite you to check out the other offerings we have for you this week. Enter to win All-Access passes to EARTHxFilm Festival, part of this year’s Earth Day celebration at Fair Park or a Dallas Pottery Invitational gift certificate.
