West Side Story, the Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim musical turns 60 years old this year. After all these years, the Tony Award-winning musical still looks and sounds good by playing it cool, boy. Real cool! This modern day take of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” features lively and athletic choreography set to classic broadway songs like “Jet Song,” “America,” and “Cool.” And of course, there are also the memorable love songs like “Maria,” “Tonight,” and “Somewhere.” The Sharks and Jets will be mixing it up at Casa Mañana March 4 through March 12.
