The Big Deal: ‘Boyhood’ Prize Pack

by Gila Espinoza 30 Jul 2014 8:30 AM

You may have heard the boys on The Big Screen talk favorable about Richard Linklater’s (Fast Food Nation, and Dazed and Confused) latest film Boyhood. It’s the movie that was filmed in Texas with the same cast over a 12-year period. The audience sees the main character, a young boy named Mason and portrayed by Ellar Coltrane, grow from age 5 to age 18 by the end of the film. Along the way we see Mason navigate the rocky path to adulthood.
