Thin Ice opens on Friday at the Magnolia Theatre in Dallas and the Cinemark West Plano. It stars Greg Kinnear as an insurance salesman looking to scam his way out of frigid Wisconsin. But when he gets mixed up with an elderly farmer (Alan Arkin) and an ex-con (Billy Crudup), his plans go off the rails.
I haven’t seen it, but it looks like it might be equal parts Fargo and A Simple Plan, which are two good places to start if you’re making a movie. Interested?
