The Railway Man starring Colin Firth, Jeremy Irvine, Nicole Kidman and Stellan Skargard, will have an advanced screening this week at the AMC NorthPark IMAX. The film is based on a true story and the best-selling book by Eric Lomax. Lomax was a British prisoner of war forced to work on the infamous Thai/Burma “Death Railway.” Firth, who portrays Lomax in the film, sets out on a journey to find those responsible for his torture.
