Giveaway: Passes To ‘Finding Vivian Maier’

by Gila Espinoza 11 Apr 2014 1:03 PM

Are you into photography? Do you like heading off to the local gallery to see the latest exhibition of black and white, candids? Maybe your date prefers to frequent the nearby movie theater to watch the latest documentary.  Then going to the theater to watch Finding Vivian Maier, is the perfect film for your next date.

Vivian Maier was a professional nanny in Chicago, who as it turns out, was also a closeted street photographer, and a highly accomplished one at that.  The very private Maier would have remained unknown had her photographs and rolls of film not been discovered by an amateur historian.

We’ve got passes to the film which tries to piece together the story about the mysterious woman and the body of work she left behind.  The doc starts playing at the Landmark Magnolia theater on Monday, April 14. Passes are good for two and valid Monday through Thursday during its run. The first 10 people to email me at [email protected] win.
