St. Vincent And Leon Bridges On The Songs That Changed Them

As host of NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series, Bob Boilen has gotten to know plenty of musicians. And he likes to ask them to name a song that has profoundly affected them. He’s compiled some of their answers in a new book, called “Your Song Changed My Life: From Jimmy Page to St. Vincent, Smokey Robinson to Hozier, Thirty-Five Beloved Artists on Their Journey and the Music That Inspired It.” I sat down at NPR Headquarters recently with him to talk about it.
