State of the Arts Expands to Fort Worth!

by Anne Bothwell 25 Apr 2016 12:28 PM

The directors of Fort Worth’s three premier art museums will join us for an unprecedented conversation.

CTA TBD

all 3 directors

The Kimbell’s Eric Lee, the Modern’s Marla Price and the Amon Carter’s Andrew Walker: together in a public forum for the first time.

State of the Arts, the conversation series with North Texas artists and arts leaders, is coming to Fort Worth, thanks to a partnership between Art&Seek and Kimbell Art Museum.

And it opens with something unusual: On May 13, Jerome Weeks, Art&Seek’s senior arts reporter/producer, will lead a discussion with Andrew Walker, of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art; Eric M. Lee of the Kimbell Art Museum and Marla Price, from Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

State of the Arts: The Fort Worth Art Museums, May 13 at 7 p.m. in the Renzo Piano Pavilion.

This will be the first time the three directors of Fort Worth’s premier art museums have ever participated in a public forum together.

Please join us on Friday May 13 at 7 p.m. in the Renzo Piano Pavilion. The event is free. And stay tuned for details of future State of the Arts conversations in the fall, both in Fort Worth and in Dallas, at the Dallas Museum of Art, the series’ founding partner.
