  • Good Evening Mr. Slavens! Another amazing show as always.

New to me this week are ‘The X X’ – nice cool dreamy pop in a song called Crystalized
    http://thexx.info/videos/33/crystalised

New to me in September was ‘The Mad Violinist and the Symphony Crack Orchestra’ – The just released their debut on August 1st. It’s on Amazon and I-Tunes.

And for one of my all time favorite artists a guy named Matt Johnson who (along with Johnny Marr and his signature guitar work) records as ‘The The’ This track features a duet with Matt and Sinead O’Connor, Kingdom of Rain. A nicely done anti-ballad.

  • Hey Paul
I stopped in the station the other day and left two copies of the sound track for our film
“Fight Songs of the Forsaken Generation” from the movie “M15-F1T5”

If i had to pick one to ask you to play it would be hard
“Thank You” by Corey Howe and the Dead Flowers
is a good one and F CC acceptable

All of the bands are local

Let me know what you think and if the albums are not there I can drop another off
