KXT's Summer Cut Happy Funtime Fest Gets Festier

by Anne Bothwell 10 May 2012 2:02 PM

Some new additions to the June 1 concert at Gexa – including a little something from Art&Seek.

CTA TBD

By now you’ve heard about the big concert KXT 91.7 plans to set off the summer.  The Summer Cut Happy Funtime Fest on June 1 features the Flaming Lips, St. Vincent,  Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and more.

Now though, two new additions to the day will give the Fest a fest-ier feel.

First, Art&Seek is sponsoring a super cool  collection of handmade goods from local artisans in the courtyards at Gexa.  Banner Theory, MegMorgan, Dowdy Studio, folksie, Eco Armoire, OneEyeOpen are just a few of the folks who will be selling their wares.

Second, what’s a party anymore without food trucks? They will roll in too. The Tamale Company, The Dough Boys and La Original Michocanna are all in.

KXT will update these lists, and add FAQ, map and other news about Summer Cut, so check in often.

And speaking of checking in: Art&Seek will give away tickets every week in the run up to the festival. We’ll give you the heads up here on the web site, and via Twitter and Facebook, whenever we do that.

Press release after the jump.
