oh my. I have heard that theme on the Simpsons long ago — Homer Simpson hums it. It’s the Dolce Vita track playing now. cool to finally get the correct reference.

  • SurlyZ

Doug Sahm was the best thing Texas ever produced. So any solo stuff or Sir Douglas Quintet would be great.

  • rick childers

Great show as usual, How about some Toni Lommi (laguna sunrise)of Black Sabbath it`s a instrumental, love the show

  • Jim Thornton

How about The Jones Thing from Dallas, Tx? They have so many great tunes. Of course, Margret The Liar is always a favorite.

  • DIANE RAMSEY

WHEN I WAS 16, I RECEIVED A “RECORD PLAYER” AND TWO ALBUMS. ONE WAS “IN CASE YOUR IN LOVE” SONNY AND CHER”; THE OTHER THE WALKER BROTHERS – “THE SUN AIN’T GONNA SHINE ANYMORE”. DID NOT KNOW WHO THEY WERE, AFTER ALL, I WAS LISTENING TO KLIF ON MY AQUA TRANSISTOR RADIO. THAT WHOLE ALBUM WAS GREAT – STILL HAVE IT. ALSO, DATED A SOCCER PLAYER IN THE EARLY 70’S – WE LISTENED TO TRAPEZE – 3 GUYS – FANTASTIC MUSIC – EVERYTHING FROM “BLACK CLOUD FOLLOWING ME” TO “THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET”. GOD – I’M SO OLD!

  • Steve Fields

I sell used CDs and listen to a lot of music, and one of my favorites from past years has been Railroad Earth “Bird in a House” or pretty much any CD they’ve done. I guess they would be described as progressive bluegrass with vocals

  • Thom

    Suggestions:
Ryan Adams, ‘Wonderwall’ from ‘Love Is Hell’
Melanie (Kafka) – ‘What Have They Done to My Song Ma’

  • I have this song in my head but don’t know the name or artist. Can I hum a tune and email it to you? What is email address for show? Thanks!

  • Susan

Would love to hear “Sebastian” by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. Thanks!

  • I would really enjoy hearin’ some Pond on the radio.
anything from their magnificently underrated Frond album would be swell. Gratzi.

  • Rayne

Here are a few for you to look up.

Ziggy Marley: “Love is my Religion”
    Ropelab: “Peyote”

  • There is a band I believe the name is Theory Corporation they have an amazing remix of “Strange Days” by the Doors but I cannot find anything about it on Rhapsody or on Google. I had it saved on my Rhapsody account but for some reason it has disappeared. If you could find it and play it that would be great. If you find it I think you will love it also.

  • WAIT its Thievery Corporation
    Thanks Kristine

Ian Brown could use a bit of love across the pond. Great Show!

  • Lori Brennan

You need to hear and play this local Dallas artist JT Dale. He is amazing and it would mean so much to him to be on your show. Here’s a link to all his music…

It is all wonderful but check out Skyros and Toils and Daggers. I think you are going to enjoy his style and voice.
Thanks for your great contribution to this city and for helping so many local artists.
