Recycle Your Art Supplies With ArtCon
by Anne Bothwell 2 Nov 2011

Got something that can be glued to paper? Old magazines, pencils, pastels, glitter? Donate them here at KERA and then come to Art Conspiracy and see how they’re transformed.

Art Conspiracy is a little less than two weeks away. Once again, Art&Seek will be in the house, giving everyone who attends the opportunity to make a piece of art.

Here’s where you can help: we’re looking for art supplies -everything from glue and glitter to feathers and popsicle sticks. Old picture magazines. Yarn, ric-rac, googly eyes, pipe-cleaners….Anything that can be glued to paper.

You can drop off your donations here at the KERA studios, 3000 Harry Hines Blvd., between 9-5. (If you have a motherload, call us or email [email protected] or [email protected] We’ll come get it.)

This year, there will be a twist – you’ll have the option of donating your Art&Seek/ArtCon creation, and we’ll sell them at the end of the evening. Proceeds will go to the evening’s beneficiary – Musical Angels.
