North Texas Giving Day – Good News UPDATE

by Jerome Weeks 15 Sep 2011 3:43 PM

We’ve given $4 million already so far, and because of the delays the large numbers of donors have caused, the gift-giving deadline is now midnight. So call or go online. No need to feel frustrated by any earlier delays.

CTA TBD

Despite the occasional slowness of the online gift-giving process for DonorBridge’s Get Up and Give! (you can always call the hotline, instead, at 214-346-5500), North Texans have already donated more than $4 million — as of 3 p.m. today.

Also, because of those delays, the gift-giving deadline has been extended to midnight tonight. It’s no longer 7 p.m.

September 15, 2011 – As of 3 p.m. today, more than 5,400 donations totaling more than $4 million have been donated to DonorBridge nonprofits.

The donation deadline is being extended to 12 a.m. midnight tonight to ensure more donations can qualify for matching funds and to handle the large volume of donations.

Donors may donate online or via phone at 214-346-5500.
