Afternoon Delight is a daily diversion for when you’re just back from lunch, but not quite ready to get back to work. Check back Monday at 1 p.m. for another one.

With all of the 9/11 memorials kicking in already (thank you, Morning News!), it seemed a good idea to remember what got knocked down, remembering it through the images of the World Trade Center that many of us saw over the years — in the background of dozens of movies. This montage doesn’t find them all (The Simpsons episode with Homer trying to use the restroom? The first Spider-Man film?), but there are plenty we’ve forgotten, the buildings were once so ever-present.
