Bill Lively Headed to UNT

by Anne Bothwell 11 Aug 2011

Bill Lively, the fundraiser who helped build AT&T Performing Arts Center and bring the Super Bowl to Dallas, then briefly served as CEO of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, has a new position.

CTA TBD

The Dallas Business Journal reports that Bill Lively has accepted a new position as vice chancellor of strategic partnerships for University of North Texas.

Lively briefly served as CEO and president of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, but stepped down in April for health reasons. He said at the time he planned to spend the summer in Colorado and return to Dallas in the fall. His new position at UNT begins Sept. 7.

Prior to the DSO, Lively was the CEO of the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee. And before that, he led the fundraising effort to build the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
