If you haven’t made it out to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art to check out “The Hudson River School: Nature and the American Vision,” well, you don’t have much of an excuse – it’s only been up since February. You’ve got between now and Sunday to change all of that, but Thursday night is the date you want to circle on your calendar. That’s because Amon Carter director Andrew Walker and paintings and sculpture curator Rebecca Lawton will be milling about the galleries from 6-8 p.m. talking to visitors about the show.

If you’ve never had the chance to walk through an art exhibition with someone who knows what they are talking about, it really is a worthwhile experience. And I promise you they won’t give you a hard time about waiting until the last week of the show to check it out.
