A couple of documentaries plus work from area college filmmakers make today’s must-see list.

CTA TBD

Wild Horse, Wild Ride – Did you know that every year, Fort Worth hosts something called the Extreme Mustang Makeover? I didn’t either until I heard about the documentary Wild Horse, Wild Ride. The film chronicles the people who train wild mustangs in just 100 days for the event. (7 p.m., Angelika)

North Texas College Showcase – The top students involved in area college filmmaking programs will show off their work during this showcase.  (10:15 p.m., Magnolia)

The Disappearance of McKinley Nolan – When Pvt. McKinley Nolan vanished during the Vietnam War, it was assumed that he either was killed, captured or went AWOL. Those theories were put to the test when a Vietnam vet claims he saw Nolan alive and well in Vietnam 40 years later. This documentary tracks Nolan’s family’s search for the truth. For more on this film, be sure to tune into Think Tuesday at noon, when director Henry Corra will be the guest. (7 p.m., Angelika)
