I am here and ready for your transmissions.
    suggest me some cool music.

  • Tom Ottinger

Have you ever play anything by pianist Nik Bartsch? His ensemble is “Nik Bartsch’s Ronin”. Their album “Holon” is very interesting. Minimal, evolving. I purchased this from Amazon.

Have enjoyed your show for several years. Hope that KXT will include more diverse music programming (such as your show) as it evolves. KXT’s current programming direction is too limited in my opinion.

    Keep up the good work.

Talk Talk – New Grass (off the Laughing Stock album)

  • Randy Riddile

My ‘must hear’ nomination: Tommy Emmanuel’s guitar instrumental cover of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ on his CD ‘Endless Road.’ Beyond his astonishing chops (Chet Atkins: ‘greatest player on the planet,’ Clapton: ‘Best guitarist I ever heard’), Tommy E’s playing is so emotional and expressive. Maybe because he doesn’t have to think about technique, he is free to focus totally on the music. Whatever, his ‘Over the Rainbow’ exemplifies his emotional style. I have heard him play this live many times, for both small and large (Bass Hall) groups, and he has never failed to bring many (me included, every time) to tears at the sheer beauty of it.
