University of Dallas theater grad Christopher Evan Welch has appeared on all three Law & Order franchises (Criminal Intent, Special Vics and Classic Coke). He provided the voiceover narration for Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona. He’s been on stage off-Broadway (I saw him in David Mamet’s Romance and with Bill Irwin in Scapin), he’s been on stage as a member of the Seattle indie band the Ottoman Bigwigs (not to be confused with the Afghan Wigs) and he’s probably still best known to far too many people  as the voice for Tails in Sonic the Hedghog.

But nowadays, he’s just popped up on my little screen as a regular on AMC’s new espionage thriller, Rubicon (“Not every conspiracy is a theory”). He plays intelligence analyst Grant Test, opposite the fittingly named Dallas Roberts.
