This weekend is the 46th annual Art Ball fundraiser for the Dallas Museum of Art — called “Coastlines” this year. The nautical theme is tied to the Coastlines exhibition opening Sunday. So workers were already hoisting sails in the Atrium cafe.

A little black paint, and it wouldn’t take much to make the whole thing pirate-themed.
